Landscape Mastery by Karl Princic of Intaran Design 

 

The mastermind behind Intaran Design, Karl Princic, envisioned a lush and contemporary landscape for Savyavasa that visually and physically connects the towers and recreational facilities through preserving the natural ecosystem of the site.  

 

Karl conveyed his expertise in creating a sense of comfort in the indoor-outdoor space, offering the opportunity for residents of Savyavasa to live in harmony with nature and to be able to participate in the conservation of the natural environment without compromising the accessibility in between areas as well as openness of the views and gardens.

“To me, the best kind of landscape is nature itself. I think that has the most rejuvenating quality to experience a truly natural landscape. As a landscape architect we believe we are stewards of nature by expanding the natural system and with Savyavasa, we had the perfect opportunity to do that. Our main approach for Savyavasa was to contrast the towers and make it look like they were placed within an existing forest, as well as making it look like things are naturally occurring. We want residents to feel that Savyavasa is their yard, this is the area for them to enjoy,” said Karl Princic, Managing Director of Intaran Design.  

 

 

A Natural Green Living Environment in the City 

 

The inspiration for Savyavasa came from the prestigious local Dharmawangsa area which has plentiful greenery and shade. The landscape design highlights the abundant plants and hundreds of trees that were replanted to elevate the natural green living environment where residents can sit on a terrace, on a deck, sit underneath the trees, and have a sense of comfort and relaxation in being part of an at one with nature concept that provides a beautiful transition from the tall towers down into the garden and pool areas on the ground level. 

 

Underneath the tall tree canopies is the one-kilometre jogging track surrounding Savyavasa which features fitness parcourse elements and ‘discreet’ area for a sense of escapism. Other vocal points include the expansive open lawn, an existing park beside the property that is set amongst three hectares of lush scenery complete with a child-friendly leisure pool, natural kids playground within close proximity and a 10x30m lap pool. All are available to create a sense of exploration at Savyavasa. 

 

 

First High-Rise Residential Green Mark Gold Standard Certification in Jakarta 

 

Savyavasa is the first high-rise residential development in Jakarta to be built with the Green Mark Gold Standard and certified in sustainably built architecture which came as a result of the creative collaboration between Hong Kong’s Swire Properties and Indonesia’s Jakarta Setiabudi International Group under the joint venture entity of PT.
